Courtney has been a cosmetologist since 2003 when she started to create her own path in the hair industry. From a very young age, it was always a goal for Courtney to become a stylist and own her own salon one day. With her grandmothers and family always volunteering to "PLAY" beauty shop with her, it only helped to keep the dream alive. After Courtney graduated from Beauty College and started to build her clientele, she has continued her education by attending classes at Vidal Sassoon Hair Academy, Paul Mitchell, Redken and many others. She specializes in all hair coloring, haircutting and styling, several different types of hair extensions and formal styling. In the Summer of 2006 Courtney had the opportunity to open a salon of her own and the offer was too good to pass. After three months of construction on the "old church" building located in Rocklin, San Francisco St. Salon & Spa was open for business on October 1, 2006. Almost 5 years after opening, the salon has built up a talented team offering you the best for all of your beauty and skincare services.
Misty Dawn

While in High School, I attended Cosmetology school and graduated a couple months before my High School Graduation, and that was a long time ago. Later, I graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a Business Degree, to solidify my business aptitude. From my years of experience and my passion for further education in the industry, I have zeroed in on what I do best. My specialties include natural-looking, dimensional blonding techniques with creative placement, unique for each client, and classic cutting tailored to suit individual needs and goals. . I also have a solid base a male clientele who like that up to date look, with cuts and/or color. I absolutely love what I do and have been blessed with a clientele who sees that, and appreciates my enthusiasm to make people feel and look their best. I love what I do so much, that for a few years, I studied, trained, and taught for the Elite British Company, Graham Webb International, world renown for their Haircutting Education. But, I am also a wife and mom who is down to earth, and realistic. I enjoy servicing my clients and their families…for they are what being beautiful is all about.
Amy Hess

Amy has been a hairstylist for the last 7 years. She graduated from Citrus Heights Beauty College in 2001. Since then she has been educated through many Redken classes and continues to be inspired by the many ongoing trends in the beauty industry. Amy has been with San Francisco Street Salon since the opening in October of 2006. She specializes in multi-dimensional color, haircutting and many variations of extensions. As well as formal styling and weddings. Amy absolutely loves being a hairstylist. Her favorite part of hairstyling is seeing the final results achieved on all of her clients. It is also her true passion to be able to experiment and create new looks as it would be a new piece of artwork....since she believes hair is walking art in motion.
Samii Johnston
Stylist
Samii has been living out her dream of becoming a hairstylist since 2008. She has been doing hair since the minute she knew how to use a comb. Whether it was her sister, her mom, a neighbor, or a friend for a school dance - the answer was always “yes”. Every girl, whether Samii knew them or not, would come to her for advice on beauty, or to get their hair done. It was just her niche. She continued with her passion all through out high school, and after graduating chose to attend The Paul Mitchell California Academy. Samii became a receptionist here at San Francisco Street while going to school and it became clear that this is what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Once she graduated she immediately started building her clientele. She believes in continuing her cosmetology education by attending numerous hair shows and continues to build her knowledge of hair by going to a variety of classes from Unite, Biolage, Paul Mitchell, Aquage & Redken. Samii specializes in natural looking hair extensions and unique cut and coloring. She is a hard worker who loves staying up on the new techniques and trends. Her outgoing personality also loves getting to know each client she has in her chair on a personal level. Her dedication and love for the craft really shows in her ability to listen to her customer’s requests and creating a look that is easily attainable after the client leaves her chair.
Brooke Bews

Brooke has been working at San Francisco Street Salon & Spa since its opening in October 2006. Brooke is graduate of Citrus Heights Beauty College and continues her education by taking classes and attending hair shows. Brooke specializes in multidimensional coloring and unique an basic haircutting. Brooke is very passionate about her craft and works diligently to meet all of her clients needs. Brooke loves meeting new people and is always open to taking on new clientele.
Jennie Tran

Jennie is our licensed manicurist and has been doing nails for over 10 years all over the U.S, from New York to Texas to California. She has been at the salon since 2010, and offers what she knows best.. Amazing nails services! Jennie is always finding new innovated products and techniques to bring you the latest trends. She offers pink and white acrylics, gels, fiberglass, gel polish manicures, and pedicures. She enjoys meeting new people, so come on by and see what she has to offer.
